Frequently asked questions

Yes. EBP allows exporting entries in FEC format (Fichier des Écritures Comptables), the standard required by the French tax administration. We transform this file to the Dolibarr model and import it into the corresponding journals, preserving counterparts and dates.

Both are possible. Migrating on January 1st simplifies accounting (you restart with opening balances) but delays the project. Migrating during the fiscal year is more flexible but requires also transferring entries from the current year. We study your case during the audit to choose the best date.

Not directly at the same level. Dolibarr offers a basic HR module (employee files, expense claims, leaves) but not a full payroll engine with social declarations. We recommend keeping a dedicated payroll tool (outsourced or specialized) and connecting it to Dolibarr via API for accounting entries.
